Q: How do I get a license for the Community Edition?
A: The Community Edition is absolutely FREE, it does not require a license like other editions. During installation you can either leave the field blank or as it is. (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx). Make sure you enter your email address and that you are connected to the internet while installing the application.
Q: Can I upgrade from the Community Edition to one of the paid versions? If so, is there an extra cost?
A: Yes, you can upgrade to the Premium or Professional versions by purchasing the license for it. Data migration however, will have to be checked for compatibility with the current release or the version you purchase and will have an extra charge (not included in license charge) depending on the amount of data to be transferred to the new version. This is optional, you may also choose to start fresh with the new version which would exclude data migration charges.
Q: Do I get free support for the Community Edition?
A: No, free support (first 12 months) is provided only for the paid versions. We do not support the Community Edition except for installation.
Q: Can I make changes by myself in the Community Edition. Will your team help me in case I run into any issues?
A: You may edit the Community Edition in whichever way you want as long as you follow the license terms. Our team will not be responsible for any issues arising due to change in code done by you.
